Frankfurt (Germany), 5 March (LaPresse) – The United States Central Command (Centcom) has announced that rumours of an F-15 jet being shot down in Iran are ‘unfounded and false’. ‘Rumours circulating on social media about a US F-15E crashing in Iran on Wednesday morning are unfounded and false,’ Centcom reported. According to some media outlets, an American F-15 crashed in western Iran, but the crew managed to escape to safety.
