Milan, 20 February (LaPresse) – According to some witnesses, Jean-Marc Gabrielli, godson of Jessica and Jacques Moretti, played a “central” role in the New Year's Eve tragedy at Le Constellation bar in Crans Montana, where a fire killed 41 people. Le Figaro has collected testimonies from some of those present who said that it was Gabrielli, who was on duty at the bar on the night of 31 December, who gave the order to close the service door. Once the fire broke out, it was precisely that locked door that prevented many of the young people present from escaping. According to the French newspaper, at least one lawyer representing the civil parties has asked the Swiss authorities to formally charge the 30-year-old. Gabrielli is the son of a former partner of Jacques Moretti, who raised him from the age of 11.
