Turin, 18 February (LaPresse) – Although Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has publicly stated that the talks have made progress, Tehran now fears that the gap between what it is willing to offer and what Washington is willing to accept may be unbridgeable. This was stated by an Iranian official, quoted by the Wall Street Journal. Tehran officials have made some concessions in an attempt to reach a nuclear deal, but US Vice President JD Vance said the proposals did not meet Washington's requirements. The United States wants Iran to be deprived of the ability to produce a nuclear weapon.
