Munich (Germany), 12 February (LaPresse) – ‘I respect the United Nations system of independent rapporteurs. However, Ms Albanese has already made inappropriate statements on several occasions in the past. I condemn her recent statements on Israel. Her position is untenable.’ This was stated in a message on X by German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul regarding the recent statements on Israel by the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Palestinian Territories, Francesca Albanese, which were also condemned by France.
