Washington (United States), 4 February (LaPresse/AP) – US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has stated that China must participate in any future talks to impose limits on nuclear weapons, highlighting the country's ‘enormous and rapidly growing’ stockpiles. The last remaining nuclear arms pact between Russia and the United States, New Start, expires tomorrow. Russian President Vladimir Putin has said he is ready to comply with the treaty's limits for another year if Washington follows suit, while Rubio reiterated President Trump's position that China must be involved in such discussions.
