Milan, 21 January (LaPresse) – ‘I love Europe and I want everything to go well, but no, you're not going in the right direction.’ This was stated by US President Donald Trump speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos. ‘After decades in which Washington respected the great capitals of Europe, now you are unable to control imports and immigration,’ Trump added. ‘Here you talk about green issues and technology, and you import large numbers of people.’ ‘We have improved the standard of living of American citizens like never before, and you too could do much better by following what we have done, because some areas of Europe are no longer recognisable,’ continued the tycoon, who emphasised: ‘I am happy to be back here in Davos to meet many friends and a few enemies.’
