Berlin (Germany), Jan. 20 (LaPresse) – The Moretti family allegedly considered fleeing abroad. The German newspaper Bild reports this, citing a letter sent to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Canton of Valais by civil party lawyer Nina Fournier. In the document, Fournier states that she learned that, regarding the flight risk cited as the reason for Jacques Moretti’s detention, a private aviation operator was contacted to prepare a possible escape. The lawyer is therefore requesting an investigation to determine which airline was approached by the bar managers involved in the case. The letter, seen by Bild, anticipates one of the main topics of the interrogations scheduled for Tuesday. Jacques Moretti could be released in the coming days upon payment of bail of 200,000 Swiss francs (approximately 215,000 euros).
