Rome, 19 January (LaPresse) – The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) announced that they launched a “large-scale” anti-terrorism operation overnight in the West Bank city of Hebron. The Times of Israel reported this, citing the IDF itself. The aim of the raid in the Jabal Johar neighbourhood is to “disrupt terrorist infrastructure, prevent illegal possession of weapons and strengthen security in the area”, according to the Israeli army, which said the operation is expected to last several days.
