The measures announced today against NATO allies will not help to ensure security in the Arctic. Rather, they risk having the opposite effect, encouraging our common enemies and those who wish to destroy our values and our way of life. Greenland and Denmark have both made it clear that Greenland is not for sale and that its sovereignty and territorial integrity must be respected. No threat of customs duties can or will change this fact." So said Roberta Metsola, President of the European Parliament, on X.
