Milan, Jan 17 (LaPresse) – “We do not intend to lead the country to war, but we will show no mercy to domestic seditious elements nor to international criminals.” This was stated by Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, speaking about the recent protests that have erupted in the country. “In the fight against this American and Zionist sedition, law enforcement forces and security officials have truly sacrificed their lives and, as much as possible, have completely destroyed the sedition that had been created at the enemy’s expense,” Khamenei added, as reported by BBC Persian. “We consider the president of the United States (Donald Trump, ed.) a criminal for the victims, the damage and the slander he has inflicted on the Iranian nation,” Khamenei added. “The objective of the United States is to swallow Iran; it was an American uprising and the people suppressed it; American and Zionist intelligence trained the leaders of the rioters abroad,” the Supreme Leader said again.
