Milan, 17 Jan. (LaPresse) – Following the fire at Le Constellation bar in Crans-Montana, Switzerland, which caused 40 deaths and over 100 injuries, investigators have released an initial report stating that a large quantity of fireworks was found on the premises. Twenty-five pyrotechnic fountains were found in the rubble, while another 100 fountains were stored ready for use. ‘These fountains are non-metallic casings containing a pyrotechnic composition that generates sparks and flames and are designed to produce sparks and flames with an acoustic effect,’ reads the report, as reported by Bild. Illegal firecrackers were also found.
