Rome, Jan. 16 (LaPresse) – An old television video of Julio Iglesias from 2004 has gone viral in Spain following recent allegations of sexual abuse made against the singer by two former employees. In the clip, broadcast by the Argentine network Telefé, Iglesias, now 82, repeatedly kisses host Susana Giménez, despite the woman clearly showing discomfort and trying to stop him by saying phrases such as “No Julio, you're a married man.” Iglesias persists, grabbing her head with both hands and continuing to kiss her, while the presenter tries to set boundaries in front of the cameras. The video, shared on social media by Spanish journalist Almudena Ariza, has been reinterpreted in the current context as a possible indication of a pattern of behavior consistent with the allegations recently brought before the Spanish Supreme Court.
