Spain, women accusing Julio Iglesias will be heard by the prosecutor's office

The prosecutor’s office has also granted the two former employees, identified with the pseudonyms Rebeca and Laura, the status of “protected witnesses.” “Being able to be heard by the prosecutor is a very important step in the pursuit of justice,” the organization commented. Women’s Link Worldwide specified that a complaint was filed on January 5 with the prosecutor’s office regarding events that occurred between January and October 2021, which could constitute the crimes of: human trafficking for the purpose of imposing forced labor and servitude, in conjunction with other offenses such as sexual harassment, sexual assault, bodily harm, and crimes against workers’ rights.
