Turin, Jan. 12 (LaPresse) – “Some proposals have been discussed with Washington and are currently under review by us.” This was stated by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in an interview with Al Jazeera Arabic. “The ideas and threats put forward by Washington against our country are incompatible,” he said. Araghchi said Iran is ready to engage in nuclear talks with the United States, “provided this takes place without threats or diktats.” “We do not believe Washington is ready for fair and just negotiations, and when it is, we will seriously consider the matter,” he added. “If Washington wants to test the military option already experienced in the past, we are ready,” he continued, referring to the bombings carried out on three nuclear sites in Iran during the summer. “We have broader and more comprehensive military preparedness than we had during the last war. We are prepared for all options and hope Washington chooses the wise option,” he said.
