Tehran (Iran), Jan. 5 (LaPresse) – "Nicolás Maduro, the president of Venezuela, must be released immediately and unconditionally," said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei at a press conference in Tehran, according to the Mehr news agency. "What happened in Venezuela was very dangerous," Baghaei added, emphasizing that "peace through force is nothing more than laying the groundwork for a world ruled by the law of the jungle."
