Crans-Montana (Switzerland), Jan. 3 (LaPresse) – "There are no updates compared to yesterday’s news: 121 injured, of whom 5 are still to be identified, and 40 victims, of whom 8 are yet to be identified," said the Italian ambassador to Switzerland, Gian Lorenzo Cornado, giving updates on the Crans-Montana fire, adding that "another briefing will be held tomorrow at 5 p.m."
"Family members are worn out by the long wait, and I understand them. The silence is very heavy; being without news of loved ones is an extremely hard trial," Cornado added, stressing that among the "8 identified, there are no Italians."
