Rome, 2 January (LaPresse) – During his evening speech, reported by the media in Kiev, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced another change in a strategic role in the administration, revealing that he had proposed the appointment of Mykhailo Fedorov as the new Minister of Defence. ‘Mykhailo is deeply committed to working on drones and is achieving very positive results in the digitalisation of state services and processes,’ Zelensky said, explaining that Fedorov ‘will be able to implement all the changes and add a stronger technological dimension.’ As for the current Defence Minister, Denys Shmyhal, the Kiev leader said that he had been offered to lead another sector ‘no less important for our resilience’.
