Rome, Jan. 2 (LaPresse) – "It will still take a long time, because identification is especially difficult. Now we wait and see. Before talking about people, we cannot provide any news that is not completely confirmed yet, so regarding deaths or injuries, we will see." This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, speaking to the media in Crans-Montana. "There is a task force here, we are at work. The Italian ambassador and the consul general are permanently present," Tajani added. Regarding the ongoing investigation into the tragic fire that caused at least 47 deaths and over a hundred injuries, he added that "the Swiss authorities are moving forward to ascertain the truth and determine if there is any responsibility; even the police say that the investigation is proceeding in the right direction. It seems to me that there is great determination on the part of the Swiss authorities to identify responsibilities. We are convinced that the investigation is heading in the right direction."
