Hong Kong (China), Dec. 30 (LaPresse) – Second day of Chinese army drills around the island of Taiwan, which Beijing has described as a “warning against separatist forces and external interference.” During the exercises, local media report, the launch of several rockets was spotted. Taiwan’s Ministry of Defense said it detected the presence of 130 Chinese military aircraft, 14 military vessels and 8 ships around the island between yesterday and today. In response, Taiwan deployed aircraft, naval vessels and missile systems along its coasts to monitor the activities of the Chinese military.
