Rome, 29 December (LaPresse) – Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reported that Kiev would like security guarantees from the US for at least 30, 40 or 50 years. "Yesterday, we decided with US President Donald Trump that we will have solid security guarantees. Of course, they are not forever; the documents mention 15 years with the possibility of extension,‘ the Ukrainian leader told the media, according to Ukrainian press reports. Zelensky then said he had asked Trump for ’longer" guarantees. ‘I told him that we would like to consider the possibility of 30-40-50 years. And this would be a historic decision by the president. Trump said he would think about it,’ he added.
