Milan, 26 December (LaPresse) – ‘In the coming days, much can be achieved both bilaterally between Ukraine and the United States and with our partners in the Coalition of the Willing.’ Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote this on X, reporting that he had had a telephone conversation with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney. ‘Right now, it is Russia that is stalling and trying to waste time,’ Zelensky added, stressing that ‘we believe there should be no weekends or breaks’ from working for peace ‘while the bloodshed continues.’ 'It is essential to jointly and constructively strengthen Ukraine's ability to protect life, consolidate our positions on the front line and improve the effectiveness of the negotiation process,' he wrote.
