Turin, 25 December. (LaPresse) – Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a message with ‘his heartfelt wishes for the arrival of the new year’ to North Korean leader Kim Jong-un. This was reported by the North Korean news agency KCNA, according to which the Kremlin leader stressed that 2025 was a particularly important year for relations between Russia and North Korea. According to Putin, the “heroic participation” of North Korean troops “in the liberation of the Kursk region” as well as the subsequent work of “Korean deminers on Russian territory” were “a clear sign of the invincible friendship” and “militant brotherhood” between Moscow and Pyongyang.
