Rome, 22 December (LaPresse) – A Ryanair aircraft bound for Faro, Portugal, collided with a fuel tanker at Edinburgh Airport at around 10 a.m. this morning, according to British media reports. According to reports, passengers had to be disembarked, but no one was injured. A spokesperson for Edinburgh Airport confirmed to The Scottish Sun that an “incident” had occurred, but rejected claims that the collision had caused a fire, adding that there had been “no impact” on airport operations. “The plane was just starting to move and was heading towards the runway. Fortunately, we weren't going at high speed,” one passenger told the same newspaper.
