Miami, Dec. 21 (LaPresse) – “The Deep State is trying to provoke a Third World War by fueling ‘anti-Russian paranoia’ across the United Kingdom and the European Union.” This is the position, reported by Tass, of Kirill Dmitriev, Russia’s special representative and Director of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), commenting on a statement by U.S. National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard. Gabbard had previously denied media claims that Russia intends to take control of the entire territory of Ukraine and other former Soviet republics. On December 20, she published an article about it on X.
“Gabbard is brilliant not only for documenting the origins of the Russian hoax with Obama and Biden but also for exposing the warmongering machinery of the Deep State, which seeks to provoke a Third World War by fueling anti-Russian paranoia in the UK and EU. Reason matters: to restore sanity, peace, and security,” she wrote on X.
On December 19, Russian President Vladimir Putin, commenting on the aggressive statements of Western politicians at the “Year in Review” conference, expressed surprise at statements by NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte regarding preparations for war with Russia. Putin advised Rutte to read the U.S. National Security Strategy, which “does not identify Russia as an enemy.”
