Turin, 18 December. (LaPresse) – ‘Brussels' arrogance at its peak. This is the most accurate description of what is happening in Brussels these days.’ Hungarian President Viktor Orban writes this on X. ‘They managed to prepare yesterday's summit between the EU and the Western Balkans in such a way that the Serbian president was not even present,’ he explains. ‘No wonder. He was dragged along for quite some time, and Aleksandar Vucic was right not to participate in this farce. It is a shame for the Union and for the Brussels bureaucrats who convened the summit that a significant number of Member States did not even come to Brussels yesterday.’ ‘Today, there will be no shortage of arrogance either. The bureaucrats swear that we will not be allowed to go home until the financing for Ukraine is resolved. In other words, the financing of the war,’ he continues. ‘We Hungarians will not participate in this farce and will remain here as long as necessary. A few sleepless nights are not the end of the world. They are certainly better than war,’ Orbán concludes.
