Turin, 13 December (LaPresse) – Fighting continues between Thai and Cambodian forces after US President Donald Trump said yesterday that the two countries had agreed to a ceasefire. Thai Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul said he told Trump that a ceasefire would only be possible after Cambodia withdrew all its forces and removed landmines. "Thailand will continue to take military action until we no longer feel damage and threats to our land and our people. I want to make that clear. Our actions this morning have already spoken," he said on social media, as reported by the BBC. Both countries reported continued shelling and gunfire across the border today.
