Jerusalem (Israel), 9 Dec. (LaPresse/AP) – Hossam Badran, a member of Hamas' political wing, has threatened that the Palestinian organisation will not move to the next phase of the ceasefire in Gaza until Israel stops its deadly attacks and allows more aid into the Strip. Badran has called for full compliance with the first phase, including a halt to the demolition of Palestinian homes. Since 10 October, at least 376 Palestinians have died during Israeli military operations. Israel accuses Hamas of violating the ceasefire, while the UN and humanitarian organisations denounce the inadequacy of aid, exacerbating the crisis. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated that Israel and Hamas will soon move on to the second phase of the ceasefire.
