Milan, Dec. 6 (LaPresse) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan “had a phone conversation with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro. During the meeting, bilateral relations between Turkey and Venezuela and regional issues were discussed,” the Turkish presidency reported in a post on X. “During the conversation, our President Erdogan told Venezuelan President Maduro that they are closely monitoring developments in the region, that Turkey believes problems can be solved through dialogue, and that they have stated this on every occasion,” the statement reads. Erdogan said it is “important to keep the channels of dialogue between the United States and Venezuela open and that they hope tensions ease as soon as possible.”
