Rome, 26 November (LaPresse) – Donald Trump is beginning to show signs of “fatigue” and his public appearances have also decreased compared to his first term. This is the summary of an investigation published in the New York Times on the health of the 79-year-old American president. According to the American newspaper, Trump has always made his stamina and energy his political strength. But this image, compounded by his age, is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain. The newspaper highlights how Trump generally does not attend official events before noon, whereas his day began on average around 10:30 a.m. during his first term. “The total number of President Trump's official appearances has decreased by 39 per cent,” writes The Times. “In 2017, Trump held 1,688 official events between 20 January and 25 November of that year. In the same period this year, he appeared at 1,029 official events,” it explains.
