(LaPresse) – In a telephone conversation today with US President Donald Trump, Chinese President Xi Jinping ‘stressed that last month's successful meeting in Busan, South Korea, led to many important agreements’ that "gave momentum to the steady progress of relations between China and the United States, while sending a positive signal to the world. After the Busan meeting, relations between China and the United States have remained generally stable and have improved, which has been widely welcomed by both countries and the international community," according to China's state news agency Xinhua.
