Rome, 19 Nov. (LaPresse) – Iran is willing to resume nuclear talks with the United States ‘on a basis of equality and mutual respect’. This was stated in an interview with CNN by Kamal Kharrazi, foreign policy adviser to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Kharrazi indicated that Iran's conditions for a rapprochement with Washington have not changed since the United States and Israel struck its nuclear facilities in June, adding that uranium enrichment will continue because the country needs fuel for its power plants and for medical purposes. Kharrazi added that ‘only the nuclear issue’ will be discussed with the US.
