Madrid (Spain), 18 Nov. (LaPresse) – Following the corruption scandal in the energy sector that has engulfed several ministers, senior officials close to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky have reportedly advised the leader to dismiss the head of the Presidential Office, Andriy Yermak. This was revealed by the media outlet Ukrainska Pravda, reporting that Zelensky met with key figures in the executive last week to understand how to stabilise the situation after the scandal. Most of the people Zelensky met with reportedly advised him to replace Yermak, who is unpopular among the ranks of the Servant of the People party. Ukrainian media reports that a faction has formed within the political group that is threatening to leave the party if Yermak is not dismissed.
