Milan, 18 Nov. (LaPresse) – ‘We believe that President Trump's plan will bring peace and prosperity because it insists on the complete demilitarisation, disarmament and deradicalisation of Gaza. In line with President Trump's vision, this will lead to greater integration between Israel and its neighbours, as well as the expansion of the Abraham Accords.’ This is according to a statement released by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office, emphasising that ‘the United Nations Security Council fully supports President Trump's 20-point plan and the appointment of the Board of Peace to be led by President Trump’ and that ‘President Trump's leadership will help bring peace and prosperity to the region and a lasting alliance with the United States.’ ‘In cooperation with the United States and the other countries that have signed President Trump's plan, we expect to receive all deceased hostages without delay and to begin the process of disarmament and demilitarisation of the Gaza Strip and an end to Hamas's rule over Gaza, as stated by President Trump and Ambassador Waltz,’ Netanyahu's office wrote, concluding that ‘Israel extends its hand in peace and prosperity to all our neighbours and invites them to normalise relations with Israel and join us in expelling Hamas and its supporters from the region.’
