Washington (USA), 17 November (LaPresse) – The Epstein affair is a “hoax” and a ‘problem for the Democrats’. Donald Trump repeated this when answering questions from reporters in the Oval Office. The president then confirmed his new position on the publication of still-classified files concerning the former paedophile financier. ‘They can do whatever they want, let everyone look at them,’ he said. But the affair, he added, ‘should not distract from the great successes of the Republican Party’ and from the fact that ‘the Democrats are responsible for the shutdown.’
