Milan, 17 Nov. (LaPresse) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, after riots in the West Bank by some settlers, that it was ‘an attempt at vigilante justice by a handful of extremists who do not represent the settlers in Judea and Samaria’ . ‘I take the violent riots seriously,’ he added, ‘I intend to deal with the issue personally and convene the relevant ministers as soon as possible to provide a response to this serious phenomenon. I am strengthening the Israeli Defence Forces and security forces so that they can continue to act with determination and without fear.’ This was reported by Ynet. Earlier, Palestinian media also reported that settlers set fire to three vehicles and three buildings in the village of Jaba, in the Bethlehem area of the West Bank. It is unclear whether this act is linked to this morning's evacuation of the illegal outpost of Tzur Misgavi in another part of the West Bank.
