Milan, 15 November (LaPresse) – Regarding the resolution on Gaza presented to the UN by the United States, which will be put to a vote on Monday at the United Nations Security Council, ‘there is an open debate, with China and Russia ultimately determining the outcome.’ This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani in Naples, on the sidelines of a Forza Italia election event. ‘In any case, we must continue to work determinedly to strengthen the truce and move on to the second phase of the project to conclude this horrible chapter in history that has led to thousands and thousands of deaths,’ Tajani added. "We are working towards this, we are also supporting the American project, and we also said at the last G7 that we are following what is happening in the West Bank with great attention: enough with the violent settlers, we support the Palestinian National Authority, we are looking at how we can work towards building a new era that stems from a Palestinian state that recognises Israel and is recognised by the State of Israel."
