(LaPresse/AP) – ‘We will sue them for between $1 billion and $5 billion, probably next week.’ This was stated by US President Donald Trump, referring to the lawsuit he intends to file against the BBC for manipulating one of his speeches. ‘The UK is very, very embarrassed by what the BBC has done,’ Trump added, speaking to reporters as he flew aboard Air Force One to Florida for the weekend. In addition to reiterating that the apology will not stop the lawsuit, Trump stressed that he would speak soon with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, adding, ‘Actually, he called me. He's very embarrassed.’
