Washington (USA), 14 November (LaPresse) – Jeffrey Epstein wrote in an email that Donald Trump was aware of the sexual abuse of underage girls, but never participated in it. This was reported by the Washington Post after analysing thousands of pages of documents published on Wednesday by the House Oversight Committee. ‘Trump knew about it… and came to my house many times during that period,’ Epstein wrote in an email sent to himself on 1 February 2019, several months before he was arrested on sex trafficking charges and committed suicide in prison. ‘He never received a massage,’ the financier claimed. This statement, the Post notes, conflicts with Trump's claim that he was never aware of Epstein's solicitation of underage prostitution before the financier's 2008 plea bargain, following the first allegations against him.
