Milan, 13 November (LaPresse) – 13 November 2015 was “a beautiful day” when “suddenly the sky closed in” and 'for everyone, for me, 13 November 2015 was yesterday. I remember everything about that evening, just like you: the voices, the screams, the sirens, the noises, the endless silence that followed,‘ ’that beautiful November day‘ turned into ’one of the darkest nights in our history,‘ but ’the Republic, wounded, remained standing." These words were spoken by the Mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, during her speech at the ceremony commemorating the victims of the attacks of 13 November 2015, on the tenth anniversary. Hidalgo was mayor at the time of the attacks. The ceremony is being held at the “Jardin du 13 novembre 2015”, or “Jardin du souvenir”, a memorial garden inaugurated on this occasion, located at Place Saint-Gervais, near the town hall.
