Milan, 10 Nov. (LaPresse) – According to US Department of Justice pardon attorney Ed Martin, President Donald Trump has pardoned a long list of his political allies for their support or involvement in alleged plans to overturn the 2020 presidential election. Among the individuals listed in a proclamation posted last night by Martin on social media are high-profile figures such as Trump's lawyers Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell and the president's former chief of staff, Mark Meadows. ‘This proclamation ends a grave national injustice perpetrated against the American people following the 2020 presidential election and continues the process of national reconciliation,’ reads the document, which is dated 7 November and appears to have been signed by the president. CNN reports. The text includes a ‘full, complete and unconditional pardon’ for those named, including some of the president's co-defendants who were charged in Georgia with attempting to subvert Trump's 2020 election defeat.
