Rome, 9 November (LaPresse) – Former IDF military prosecutor Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi has been hospitalised after falling ill and medical teams are assessing her condition. The Times of Israel reports this, explaining that it has received confirmation from the hospital. The woman is said to be conscious. According to Ynet, investigations are underway to determine whether it was a suicide attempt, after the emergency services received a report of a drug overdose. Tomer-Yerushalmi was released and placed under house arrest on Friday, five days after her disappearance on a beach and a week after she resigned from her post and admitted to leaking a video to the press showing Israeli army soldiers mistreating a Gaza detainee at the Sde Teiman facility last year.
