New York, Nov. 6 (LaPresse) – U.S. President Donald Trump reportedly expressed reservations to his top aides about launching a military action to remove Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, according to the Wall Street Journal. Some U.S. officials familiar with the matter say Trump fears that attacks might not be sufficient to force Maduro to step down. Therefore, the American administration’s strategy on Venezuela remains “evolving,” despite the increase in U.S. military forces in the region and Trump’s public threats of attacks.
