Milan, 4 November (LaPresse) – ‘We would really like Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban to support us, or at least not block us’ on the path to EU accession. This was stated by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, speaking at the EU enlargement summit organised by Euronews. Zelensky criticised Orban, describing his veto as ‘specific support’ for Russian President Vladimir Putin. ‘I don't think I have anything to offer Viktor Orban,’ said the Ukrainian leader, ‘I think Viktor Orban has something to offer Ukraine, which is protecting the whole of Europe from Russia.’ ‘We would not want Viktor to support Russia, because blocking Ukraine in the EU is very specific support from Viktor to Putin. This is definitely not positive. This is my subjective opinion,’ Zelensky added.
