Washington (USA), Oct. 31 (LaPresse) – “No.” This is how Donald Trump responded to journalists who asked him if he is considering a military attack on Venezuela. According to some media outlets, including the Miami Herald and the Wall Street Journal, the Trump administration had decided to strike military installations within Venezuela, and these attacks could occur at any time. The goal is to destroy the military bases used by the Soles drug cartel, which, according to the United States, is led by Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and managed by key figures in his regime. U.S. officials believe the cartel exports about 500 tons of cocaine per year, divided between Europe and the United States.
