Washington (US), Oct. 30 (LaPresse) – The United States Senate has passed a bill that would repeal the tariffs imposed on Canada, just as US President Donald Trump is traveling in Asia for trade talks. The vote passed with 50 in favor and 46 against. The Senate had already approved a similar resolution on Brazilian tariffs in recent days, and had approved one on Canadian imports in April. The same four Republicans – Senators Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Susan Collins of Maine, Mitch McConnell of Kentucky, and Rand Paul of Kentucky – once again voted with all the Democrats to pass the resolution applicable to Canada.
