NATO, EU: ‘We take note of the withdrawal of US troops, our roadmap remains clear’

Brussels, 29 October (LaPresse) – On the reduction of US troops on NATO's eastern flank in Europe, ‘as far as troops are concerned, we take note of this announcement. To be very clear, this does not change our plans regarding the defence roadmap we have presented and the four main guidelines highlighted here, including the surveillance of the eastern flank.’ This was stated by a European Commission spokesperson in the daily press briefing.
