Washington (USA), Oct. 24 (LaPresse/AP) – US President Donald Trump has said he wants to end “all trade negotiations” with Canada because of a television commercial opposing US tariffs, which he says misrepresents the facts. "The Ronald Reagan Foundation has just announced that Canada has fraudulently used an advertisement, which is false, in which Ronald Reagan speaks negatively about tariffs. The ad cost $75,000. They did this solely to interfere with the decision of the US Supreme Court and other courts,“ the tycoon wrote on his social media platform Truth. ”Tariffs are very important to US national security and the US economy. Based on their outrageous behavior, all trade negotiations with Canada are hereby terminated," he explained. The White House tenant's post came after Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said he wanted to double exports to countries outside the US because of the threat posed by Trump's tariffs.
