Milan, 22 October (LaPresse) – A man in his thirties shot and injured a 70-year-old man in front of the Serbian Parliament in Belgrade and then set fire to a tent. Local media reported that the attacker was arrested and that the 70-year-old victim is in hospital. Health Minister Zlatibor Loncar, who visited the victim, said he could not guarantee that he was out of danger because he would have to undergo complex surgery. According to the minister, what happened was that “a man appeared in front of people with whom he disagreed and who argue that Serbia should not be blocked, but should function, operate and move forward, and he started shooting”. Loncar said that several shots were fired and that the injured man “says he never saw the man who shot him”.
