Milan, 19 October (LaPresse) – Israel informed the administration of US President Donald Trump in advance of attacks on Gaza in response to shots fired at Israeli army troops in Rafah. Israel communicated this through the US command centre that oversees the ceasefire in the Strip. This was reported by US and Israeli officials to Axios. An Israeli official specified that Israel did not ask for permission to carry out retaliatory attacks against Hamas.
