Rome, 15 October (LaPresse/AP) – The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that the Palestinian death toll since 7 October has risen to 67,160. Another 169,638 people have been injured. The ministry said that in the last 24 hours, the bodies of 19 people have been transported to hospitals in Gaza. Among them are 16 bodies recovered from the rubble. Hospitals also received 35 wounded. The ministry said it did not add to the count the 45 bodies that Israel transferred to Gaza on Tuesday. Gaza authorities do not distinguish between civilians and combatants, but say that about half of the victims are women and children.
